Congratulations! You have chosen to install the pool of your dreams. We know you will have a lot of questions regarding what comes next. As such, we have put together some answers to commonly asked questions, to help guide you through each step in preparation for the big day.

DO I NEED TO REACH OUT TO AN ELECTRICIAN FOR PREPARATION?

You will need to reach out to an electrician. We recommend Shawn Lemay SML Electric. Please find below the answers to some of the questions they may ask :

  • Pump 15 AMPS 220V
  • Thermo Pump 50 000 BTU 20 AMP 220V
  • LED light 12-14V 15 AMPS 110V connected in a 12-14V Transformer
  • Salt system 15 AMPS 110V
  • Spa-Pack 50 AMPS 220V

I HAVE EVERYTHING READY, WHEN DO WE GET OUR POOL?

Approximately one week notice will be provided before our pool crew comes in. Please have your backyard clear of anything that could be in the pool installers way. This includes any dog feces that may be in the backyard.

WHAT WILL THE POOL INSTALLATION PROCESS LOOK LIKE?

DAY 1 – Placement of the pool with template & Excavation

DAY 2 – Levelling of the aggregate and ready the hole to receive the pool crane will come in to install the pool in the hole (the moment you have been waiting for!)

  • Connection of the plumbing and LED lights if applicable
  • Backfill around the pool
  • Cement slab installed for pool equipment
  • Clean up
  • Pool will need to be filled

WHO TAKES CARE OF THE PLUMBING?

Guy Robert Landscape will take care of this.

WHAT DO I DO NOW THAT MY POOL IS IN MY BACKYARD?

Once the pool is in and Guy Robert has taken care of the plumbing it is now time to call your Electrician and Gas experts to set everything up.

EVERYTHING IS DONE AND WE WANT TO START UP OUR POOL WHAT IS NEXT?

The pool start up will be taken care of by Guy or a Guy Robert employee. You will be provided with a crash course on how everything works. Once that is done you can take your pool water to your nearest pool experts like Mermaid Pools or Campbell Pools to have your water tested. Once you get your water tested and balanced it is time to enjoy and start making memories.

HOW DO I CLOSE MY POOL WHEN THE SEASON IS OVER?

You can contact a local pool company to close your pool or you can contact Swimming Pool Solutions Inc.
